Funny Things About Grande Prairie (as of August 20th, 2012):

-There is an entire section of plaid at Walmart.

-The AVERAGE income is $105,000. That's including McDonalds and Timmy Ho Ho workers.

-There is a "Grande Prairie Oilwives Club". No joke.

-approximately every 1 in 3 windshields has a crack in it. Not a little chip or dent. I'm talking like a 3 or 4-foot across-the-windshield C / R \ A / C \ K.

-It's dry. Like, real dry. Head and shoulders shampoo, moisturizer and hydration are a must for me. On the bright side, the lack of humidity makes today's 30 degrees bearable. Does it work the same way for the cold (ie not as extreme), or will non-humid cold make it seem even more frigid?
