From the pen of Mr. Song

As promised, here is my UNEDITED guest writer post.

Without further ado:

During this trip, I’ve had the pleasure of traveling with my dear, dear Becky. It has been a wonderful experience and I could not have asked for a better partner.

However, as Becky would tell you herself; she is not the most coordinated person…physically.

I’ve noticed and enjoyed a variety of moments that I have dubbed ‘Booky (Boo-Key) Moments’.

Here are some of my favourites.

• Becky knocks over my bento box on the Shinkansen (see mess above).
• Becky tries to eat food. Breaks chopsticks on plate.
• Becky gets asked a question in Japanese. Answers in French.
• Becky drops things. Multiple times. Her drink can. Guide books. Tickets. Money. The works.
• Becky misjudges her distance from table. Chopsticks are launched in the air.
• Becky wants to drink sake. Spills it.
• Becky goes to a shrine. Gets nervous with etiquette. Forgets to pray.
• Becky goes down subway stairs. During rush hour. On the wrong side. With luggage.
• Becky picks up her rice bowl. Smashes it on table. Breaks it in half.
